I had a hard time figuring out what I was going to do for mother’s day. First I thought, “I’ll send flowers!”, but what kind? The flowers were beautiful, but the containers really didn’t match up OR the containers were neat, but the flowers looked tacky! I really didn’t know. I came to a decision that posting something on my blog would be the best. I went out in my yard today and snapped some photographs of the flowers around my house. PERFECT…now I can get a little of each flower and feel that I got everything I wanted to give as a little gift. Each flower has a special meaning. The rose symbolizes love, the lilly for simplicity, violets for sweetness, Lepards Bane for smiling, phlox for never ending happiness and apple blossoms for a reminder that apple pie is in the future. As a kid, I was the apple pie maker! Anyway, there was one other thing I could not do and that was to set this post to music. I tried very hard to find an Alan Jackson ditty, but I just could not pull it off…so mom…take out that special CD you like and put my pictures to music…your the best…Happy Mother’s Day!
